I started this picture about a week ago when we had really warm summer weather hitting my area and it was absolutely gorgeous. I'm personally more of a winter gal, but in comparison to the dreary, wet, muggy weather we had been having from a late spring, the warm weather made me happy. It was too hot to really do anything, so I felt inspired to do a very summer-y picture.
It's been a
LONG time since I drew Koarai an actual picture, and I've always wanted an excuse to draw a wave, so... what better way than to combine the two? Koarai surfs, anyways, so this works. <3 I have never drawn a wave before, so here's hoping you guys think it looks good, too! A lot of layers were used in the wave's creation, but most of them were experimental, but I counted them anyways.

I'm doing fine - I've been spending more time writing than drawing recently. And the things I've drawn have been for real-life projects so I haven't been uploading them here! D:

I know I should - I just have so many things I want to do and I'm too lazy to get any of them done!
